Alex Davey may not be playing too much lately for League One side Peterborough, whom he joined this summer on a one-month loan that was then extended to a half-season one in September, but Chelsea have seen fit to reward him with another contract extension. While there's no word on length, chances are it's a similar one-year extension that the tall center back signed last November.
Happy to have signed another contract with @ChelseaFC , it's been 10 years at the club now loved every minute of it ⚽️

Davey, who will turn 21 in a few weeks is on his second loan assignment after last season's stay at Scunthorpe. The former FA Youth Cup and U21 Premier League winner is unlikely to ever feature in the Chelsea first team, but the club, as is our m.o., will no doubt do everything in our power to set him up for a fruitful career in football.
