As has been the case for the past few matches, Chelsea have not played badly at all. In fact, at times today, we've been downright superb. Unfortunately, our luck remains beyond terrible.
A wondersave from Jack Butland (plus a couple other very nice ones), a goal-line clearance, and Ramires Torresing a chance is all we really have to show for all our hard work and enterprising play. Meanwhile, Stoke City are kicking just about everything that moves, and when they're not kicking, they're hip-checking. Which is how Diego Costa got hurt (thanks, Charlie Adam!) and unfortunately his repalcement Loic Remy has not been able to really get into the flow of the match.
Stoke have threatened a couple times, but their best chance was a flukey overhead kick from Marc Muniesa a lovely move at the end of the half where Begovic saved excellently from Walters. But, one would think that if we keep up our play, we'll have this one in the bag. One would think...
COME ON, CHELSEA!
