This story started in Spain a few days ago, but we ignored it because it sounded ridiculous. It still sounds absolutely ridiculous, but it has now filtered up from it's humble beginnings in random Spanish tabloids, through various English tabloids, to the pages of the Telegraph under Matt Law's byline.
Radamel Falcao could ask Chelsea to cancel his season-long loan in January if he remains on the Stamford Bridge sidelines.
Falcao did not even make the substitutes' bench on Saturday, despite being fit, and the striker was one of three players Jose Mourinho did not take to Porto for the club's last Champions League trip. That has left Falcao frustrated and fearing for his place in the Colombia team, having scored only one Premier League goal for Chelsea.

Falcao's performances for Colombia have matched his mostly useless ones for Chelsea, and so far at least, the Great Falcao Reclamation / Mourinho Vanity Project has been a pretty solid failure. I know, shocking.
The kicker to all this is that the team who supposedly might be interested in taking their turn with Falcao are none other than Barcelona. The first instinct is to just laugh at all this, but then you remember that, should any of this be true, it'd be Jorge Mendes pulling the strings, and if anyone can pull the strings just right, it's the Portuguese super-agent.
Additionally, Falcao's departure — however little impact he's actually made on our season so far — would open up a spot for a new attacking player, suddenly putting a tiny bit of validity behind the recent rumors of Ukrainian or Spanish reinforcements in January.
