It was a relatively quiet Sunday in terms of loan watch action in all countries not named the Netherlands, where there is none other than Vitesse Arnhem. Saving the best for last, let's first check on how the other soldiers of our loan army got on yesterday.
TURKEY:
Kenneth Omeruo is still out due to injury and wasn't involved in Kasimpasa's 2-1 victory over Sivasspor.
ITALY:
Juan Cuadrado continues to look a completely different player since moving to Juventus on loan and yet again, he was one of their main attacking outlets away to Inter Milan. However, it was one of his more frustrating nights, the game eventually culminating in a goalless draw.
Wait, this section of the loan roundup isn't over yet! I wouldn't blame you if you'd forgotten but we have three other loanees in Italy, out of which two actually got some playing time yesterday.
Unfortunately, neither was Nathaniel Chalobah, who's apparently having a great time in Naples, barring the 90 minutes where he has to sit on the bench for Napoli every week.
The other two, Wallace and Stipe Perica, were 73rd and 75th minute substitutes for Carpi and Udinese respectively, the latter seeing his first minutes of the season. It was a lively cameo from the Croatian striker, who even had a goal disallowed.
FRANCE:
Jeremie Boga was an unused substitute for Rennes, who lost 1-4 to Nice. It's been over a month since Rennes last managed to win a game and hopefully Boga will be given his chance in the league soon.
THE NETHERLANDS:
Todd Kane, who's incidentally out on loan to Vitesse's local rivals, NEC Nijmegen, played 81 minutes before being taken off for Sam Lundholm, as NEC looked for an equalizer versus Twente. Twente didn't concede however, and ended 1-0 winners.
Vitesse Arnhem, now with 22 goals scored, are officially the most prolific team in the Eredivisie as of now. Making it two five-goal victories on the bounce, they clinched their first away win of the season, against (previously) high-flying PEC Zwolle. Without their suspended manager Peter Bosz for this one, Vitesse were off to a flying start when Lewis Baker wrong footed keeper Mickey van der Hart and scored via a free kick.

Zwolle equalised in under ten minutes but were soon trailing again, thanks to Dom Solanke's well-placed penalty.

A red card followed for Zwolle and the stage was set for a big Vitesse victory. The game ended with Vitesse winning five goals to one.
Nathan came on for one of the goalscorers, Denys Oliinyk, in the 66th minute and Danilo Pantic, too, came on for Valeri Qazaishvili in the 74th in what was his seventh (!) substitute appearance of the season. Nathan did precious little to stake a claim for a starting place and will most likely lose out to Oliinyk next week as well. Izzy Brown, who returned from injury, didn't make it off the bench.
Solanke, despite his goal, had an average outing while Baker is steadily growing into his deeper role. For a full match report, there's none other than From Arnhem with Love.
