There's a very good chance that Tomas Kalas's Chelsea career will finish with a grand total of four apperances, four seasons on loan, and many more days spent as a training cone at Cobham. The 22-year-old defender is currently back on loan at Middlesbrough, where he finished out last season as well, but while he will have two more years left on his recently signed contract extension, it sounds like his agent is already making plans for a move away next summer. And this time, probably not just on a temporary basis.
"(The Besiktas) management wants to see (Kalas) in their squad in the summer. Currently, there is no definite situation but Besiktas may look hot."
"However, until the end of the football season we should not forget the Middlesbrough (loan) agreement. (He) plans to continue his career in England in the first place. But next season if Chelsea can be seen as less of a chance to form plans to reshuffle his career, Besiktas wants to see him in the summer."
"For now, it would not be right to say anything definite about the transfer but at the end of the season, Besiktas may look hot."

Technically, Kolar does not rule out a future at Chelsea for his client, but it sure sounds like we will be facing an ultimatum. Unless by some random chance or circumstance we decided to try to re-integrate Kalas into the squad again instead of dipping into the transfer market for a John Stones or a Marquinhos or whatever other big money, big name center back and right back we can think of, then perhaps Kalas will end up staying. Otherwise, it sounds like he's already good as gone.
Oh well. We'll always have that glorious day at Anfield, right?
