As confirmed yesterday on Chelsea TV, Chelsea U18 captain Josh Grant has signed his first professional contract with the club. Having turned 17 on Sunday, he signed his maiden two-year pro deal on Monday. His name may not be too familiar to most of us, but he's yet another promising academy prospect to keep an eye on in the coming seasons.
Having logged four assists on Saturday before turning 17 on Sunday, @Joshua_Grant1 signed his first professional contract today. Congrats!

Josh was already a regular in the U18 side last season, though he did not feature in any of the matches during our victorious FA Youth Cup run. He did make the bench for both legs of the semifinals and the finals. We will no doubt become more familiar with him during this season's campaign, especially since Chelsea TV have finally decided to broadcast U18 league matches as well.
The London-born defender who's recently been playing at right back, from where he provided the aforementioned four (!) assists against Swansea City U18 this past weekend, has been with Chelsea since he was 8 years old.
