It was just a few days ago that young right back prospect Todd Kane spoke in hopes of getting his loan deal extended at League One powers Bristol City, but it turns out that the 1-1 FA Cup draw against Doncaster Rovers that same day will end up as his last match for the Robins.
@bcfctweets boss Steve Cotterill confirms loan signing Todd Kane has been recalled by @ChelseaFC. He is set to join @Official_NFFC on loan.

Going from Bristol City to Nottingham Forest sees Kane return to the Championship, which is most certainly a welcome development considering he's already proven his worth in England's second tier with his loan spells at Blackburn Rovers.
Forest are having a bit of a rough go at it lately, having dropped to 10th after topping the table for six rounds earlier this season, and with just 2 wins from 17 league matches (and two cup losses), manager Stuart Pearce has been under increasing pressure. Incidentally, one of his rumored replacements is former Chelsea right back Dan Petrescu, a man from whom Kane could certainly learn a thing or two.
I suspect this deal will be made official fairly soon; until then, keep those bags packed and ready to go, Toddy!
