Well, it's all even at 0-0 after 45 minutes at Stamford Bridge. That much we know for sure. Beyond that, it's been up to our imaginations. BBC Radio has done a better job of actually describing the action than Chelsea TV, but obviously it's still nowhere near as comprehensive as watching the thing. Oh well.
So, it sounds like Chelsea haven't really hit any gear beyond 1 or 2, and there have been several comments about Jose Mourinho looking highly displeased, yelling at players and sending the likes of Willian and Diego Costa to warm up. Meanwhile, on the pitch, André Schürrle has had a few inaccurate shots and at least one bad decision. Oscar got crunched and was down for a while but is seemingly ok to carry on. Rémy started slow, but has improved. Mikel has played a couple decent through balls and long balls, but we've yet to make a breakthrough. Ramires has made at least one silly foul and had one wayward shot. Zouma has been quick and strong and calm. Cahill had a chance from a corner. Cech tested a couple times with long shots, but not much danger posed by Watford so far (until their very last chance of the half when Ighalo dragged his shot just wide).
And so, 45 more minutes of this exercise in non-televised semi-futility. UP THE BLUES!
