Taking a break from the sudden and quite forceful whirlwind of transfer activity, there's a bit of good news regarding Cesc Fàbregas and his tweaked hamstring.
Cesc Fabregas was involved in a light training session on Thursday, though it remains unclear whether the Chelsea midfielder will be fit for the title showdown against Manchester City this weekend.

While Fabregas wasn't able to take part in a full session with his team-mates at Cobham, he was assessed and is yet to be ruled out of Saturday's game at home to the Premier League champions.

And since Mourinho canceled his pre-match press conference on account of not wanting to deal with that backstabbing lot of journalists and ex-players posing as pundits but behaving instead like professional trolls, Fàbregas probably won't end up officially ruled out in any case. Teams in the Premier League don't have to submit injury reports; we'll only know for sure when the lineups drop.
If Cesc can't go, Ramires, who had an excellent showing against Liverpool on Tuesday, is most likely to take his place.
