After Cesc Fabregas had to leave early on Tuesday against Liverpool, Chelsea fans immediately began to worry about whether or not he'd be fit for Saturday's massive clash with Manchester City. According to The Guardian, the early signs are not encouraging.

The paper is reporting that after receiving some treatment for the hamstring the injury Wednesday, that Cesc is 'doubtful' to be healthy enough to play this weekend. If that's the case, it's likely that we see Ramires partner Nemanja Matic in the center of the pitch. Luckily, the Brazilian looked outstanding against Liverpool on Tuesday, and appears to be fully fit again after dealing with nagging injuries for much of the season.

Then again, Chelsea's medical team has done a fantastic job of keeping players healthy this season, and more often then not, 'doubtful' players have been fit enough to play and play well when needed. Here's hoping that this is the case with Fabregas on Saturday.
