Second verse same as the first. And by verse I mean half. So much action, so many incidents, yet still no goals. And so it's 0-0 and into extra-time we go.
Chelsea have been forced into two subs, with Ramires replacing an injured Cesc Fabregas (after getting clattered into by John Terry) and Cesar Azpilicueta replacing Filipe Luis who appeared to hurt something on one of his legs. The Cesc injury could be worrying, but there's no time for that right now. Right now, we just need to either hold it at 0-0 (at which point we'd win on the away goals rule at the end of extra time) or find the winner that seemed to have been within reach a couple times in the second half. So close, yet so far.
Meanwhile, in further refereeing adventures, Jordan Henderson escaped a second yellow for a deliberate handball, and tempers have been allowed to flare unchecked out of control over and over and over again.
