More smoke and £23m of hot air billowing around Juan Cuadrado

Here's the latest combination of the words Cuadrado, Chelsea, transfer, and bid.  Since it's from the Express (and now picked up by fellow institution of bulletproofiness, the Metro, as well), presented with extra flair and lots of CAPITAL LETTERS, you know it's as likely to be true as the aliens at Area 51 in Roswell.  Do you believe?

Chelsea have had a bid of £23million accepted by Fiorentina for winger and Manchester United target Juan Cuadrado.

BOOM?

The Express cite non-specific "reports in Italy," but these reports are so mysterious that not even Google seems to know about them.  If a tree falls in the forest and Google search can't find it, did it still make a sound?

Regardless of how much truth may be to this latest development, there's enough smoke around Cuadrado and Chelsea to think that our interest is (probably*) real.  That's no guarantee of anything actually happening of course, and anything happening would in fact run contrary to what both managers have said in the not-so-distant past, but hey, stranger things have happened.
