On most days, winning and converting a penalty kick to give your side the lead and a sort-of, nearly precious away goal will be good enough in and of itself for a higher rating.  On a day when the team average was barely above 6, it gets you a 7.1 and second place.

According to WhoScored, Hazard actually led the team in touches with 73, which isn't that far away from Eden's norm.  Yet it felt like we barely ever got him the ball.  Weird.

Initially I thought this was going to be John Terry, and I was trying to figure out how or why that would be the case and all I could come up with was his human melding experiment with Raheem Sterling.  Alas, Terry finished just fourth.

Yet Kasmirski is another case of statistics telling me things I don't remember.  Nine (9!) tackles?  Wow.  Plus, he took our only shot from open play, so that right there is worthy of a medal already.

OTHERS:
Terry (6.5), Cahill (5.3), Ivanović (5.3), Matić (5.8), Mikel (5.0), Fàbregas (6.3), Willian (6.3), Costa (6.3)

SUBS:
Azpilicueta (6.0)
