Poor Marko Marin. Fora few weeks, he was the sort of player filled one of Chelsea's most pressing needs...creative talent in the attacking band behind Fernando Torres. Then Chelsea won the Champions League, and signed an army of better options. Since that point, Marin has bounced back and forth between the Chelsea bench and clubs overseas, and has never developed the sort of consistency required to convince any of those clubs to take on his wages.
Marin spent the first part of this season at Fiorentina on loan, where his impact was minimal at best. He'll now head north to Belgium, though, where he's joining RSC Anderlecht on loan.

Honestly, it's nice to see that Chelsea are still able to find a home for the injury-prone Marin, and even with his complete lack of defensive usefulness, one would assume that Marin would be talented enough to carve out a niche in Belgium. Anderlecht reportedly have an option to buy at the conclusion of the loan, so hopefully, that's the case.
Regardless, have fun at Anderlecht, Marko, and have a good laugh with the lads about the time they came back from 3-0 down against Arsenal.
