Mohamed Salah may not be playing much at all for Chelsea, but that apparently isn't preventing him form being a hot hot hot hot ticket item this January. Limited supplies! Bidding starts at €15m! (WHOA!)
...Roma has initiated the contacts with the player's agent. Chelsea would like to sell him on loan with forced option to buy, while Roma prefers a loan with option to buy set at 15 million euro but not a forced one.

What's the point of a loan with a forced option to buy? Isn't that just a ... you know ... sale? I guess Chelsea could pay Salah's wages for the duration of the loan, is that the idea? Does Roma have an MLS affiliate? We could work some "loan" magic that way.
In any case, Salah has now been linked with Inter (who are presumably out having acquired Lukas Podolski), Napoli, Besiktas, Sunderland, QPR, a Spanish side or two, I think, as well, and we're just halfway through the transfer window. Watch, in the end he won't even go anywhere. (Which is what Mourinho will have been claiming all along.)
