Jose Mourinho is taking the training wheels off Diego Costa's season. Although the centre forward has had a brilliant start to his Chelsea career, with eight goals in six Premier League games, he's yet to feature in the Champions League with the Blues. The manager has cited Costa's hamstring complaint as the reason he's yet to feature in midweek games, but the cotton wool treatment ends here: he'll start against Sporting:
Jose: 'Diego Costa will start (tomorrow's game) and hopefully he plays on Sunday against Arsenal.' #CFC

Which ... bad news, Sporting! We know what Diego Costa can do, and the fully-fit version should terrifying everyone who isn't a Chelsea fan (the blessed few can simply watch the carnage cackling with glee). Meanwhile, we have an injury update on another striker:
Jose: 'Didier Drogba will be out for a couple of weeks, he has a problem with his ankle and wasn't able to travel.' #CFC

Which is sad to hear, although it probably won't effect the team too much. Get well soon, Didier!
