Except for the narrow 2-1 showing on the scoreboard, Chelsea dominated Bolton Wanderers in all phases of play and so we get to move on to the next round of the Capital One Cup, which is scheduled for either Tuesday or Wednesday of the final week of October. And our opponents shall be... Shrewsbury Town of League Two!
While the match will be away, this is probably the easiest draw that we could've had this round. Though the fans in Row Z might want to invest in some padding if Schurrle can't dial in his boots before then.
The 4th round draw in full:
Tottenham Hotspur vs. Brighton & Hove Albion
Stoke City vs. Southampton
AFC Bournemouth vs. West Bromwich Albion
Shrewsbury Town vs. Chelsea
Liverpool vs. Swansea City
MK Dons vs. Sheffield United
Manchester City vs. Crystal Palace or Newcastle United
Fulham vs. Derby County
The Brendan Rodgers derby is probably the tie of the round, but it's nice to get a choice draw and hopefully progress into the quarterfinals with ease.
