THE NEVERENDING SHOOTOUT:
So that was something else, wasn't it, at Anfield on Tuesday? Fifteen rounds of penalty kicks, only the last of which, number 30, wasn't on target. Still a ways off from the record of 48 kicks, but certainly impressive.
Chelsea were well represented with Bamford, Omeruo, and of course one of the goalkeepers, Blackman. Here's an endless loop of just their kicks in the (seemingly) endless shootout (plus Bamford's last minute equalizer in extra time).

Finally got around to watching the latest episode; very good. Two very good episodes in a row! Capaldi as great as ever, his most Malcolm Tucker-esque performance yet. Someone in the io9 comments likened his shutity up line to this one from In the Loop. Rated R, for all you kids.
