Watching his first interview, you get a sense that Loïc Rémy just wants to win. Trophies and games, football in general. Wins, wins, wins.
Wins. They haven't exactly been bountiful since his big-money move out of Marseille and into QPR and Newcastle, though it's not like OM were bringing in the trophies by the truckload.
Rémy clearly feels like he's in his prime, ready to "switch on" to the challenge of having to compete with Diego Costa and Didier Drogba for minutes at Chelsea. The 27-year-old French striker, who is currently joining up with his international teammates in the France national team is coming off his best year statistically, averaging just over 1-in-2 goals-per-game on loan at Newcastle United. With 14 goals, he was tied with Eden Hazard for 11th on the Premier League scoring charts.
"To be honest I wanted to play in the Champions League this season so yes, that was another of my motivations for coming here. I know that Chelsea can win the Champions League this season because there is so much quality in the squad. The first thing to aim for is winning titles."

"We have two great strikers here already and I don't have a choice if I want to be in the team - I have to play at a very high level."
