Slight injuries ahead of the international break are the best kind of injuries -- they mean that our players get an extended rest, and with the number of games in the average Chelsea season, they could do with as much rest as possible. Apparently Eden Hazard will be getting one such break:
Eden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku won't be playing with the Belgian national team this week. Small injuries. #cfc #efc

As long as the 'small injury' doesn't linger, this is obviously great news for Chelsea. Keeping Hazard as fresh as possible is good for the club, even if it is Belgium's loss. But if Marc Wilmots and company are smarting over losing their most talented player, fear not -- we're just sending another Hazard in his place. Thorgan is stepping up to the senior side, who have a friendly against Australia on September 4th and then start European Championship qualifying with a visit to Israel five days later don't have to play again because their match against Israel has been postponed.
