It's almost as if we took the 2-0 lead a bit TOO early. This was far too stressful of a game for that scoreline. And at 2-1, all bets are off.
Since going up 2-0 in the 3rd minute (yeah, that's right, THIRD minute), Chelsea have struggled to retain possession and pushing Cesc Fabregas up to play Ramires deeper with Nemanja Matic is entirely the wrong way to go about fixing that problem. Meanwhile, John Terry remains shaky (getting absolutely destroyed by Lukaku on at least one corner), though Cahill, Ivanovic, and Azpilicueta have been largely solid.
On the plus side, Diego Costa scored again (three in three), Branislav Ivanovic who might've been a bit offside scored again (has been involved in 6 of our 8 goals so far this season), and Cesc Fabregas has another assist. All in the first three minutes.
Not long after, Tim Howard should've been sent off as well for handling the ball outside his area with Eden Hazard through on goal, but the linesman was a bit behind the play and it was a tough call to make for him.
And then we conceded in first half stoppage time. This is going to be a rough one.
