Just in case there was any lingering doubt as to just where Fernando Torres was spending his Saturday, AC Milan's official account has just tweeted the following:
Fernando @Torres arrived at the Madonnina Clinic and is currently undergoing medical tests #WelcomeTorres pic.twitter.com/z20s2NwSmo

Torres is in Italy for a medical, and assuming we don't find out that his knees aren't made of sad-looking gristle (which would explain rather a lot), he should pass with flying colours, and the deal will be officially official in short order -- perhaps even before the Everton game. I'm not entirely sure why Milan are so excited about selling Mario Balotelli and replacing him with Torres, but the centre forward going somewhere where he's desperately wanted, and that's great for everyone involved.
I am, in a weird, weird way, looking forward to watching Milan this year. Good luck, Fernando.
