Milan TV: Chelsea have given Torres permission for Milan medical

Clive Rose

Just like Chelsea have their own in-house television channel, so do AC Milan.  And it is they who are breaking the following bombshell of a news:

Milan's in-house television channel is claiming that Chelsea have given Fernando Torres permission to undergo a medical with the Rossoneri.

[...]

However, this afternoon Milan Channel have revealed that Jose Mourinho's men have given the 30-year-old the all-clear to travel to Italy and visit the club's medical specialists.

[...]

It is suggested that the Spain international will fly into Milan tomorrow morning and go straight to Milanello, however, there has been no official word from any of the parties involved.

One nice thing about this latest rumor is that we should be able to confirm at least part of its veracity by whether or not Torres is involved tomorrow when we visit Everton.

Until then, cross your fingers and your neighbors' fingers and your loved ones' fingers, and then repeat that for all the toes you can find.  Reports so far today have been mostly negative (severance pay issues) but if this is true, it's a major step forward.  That being said, it would be the first actual medical that Torres would have since moving to Liverpool; who knows what they'd find.
