Chelsea's four moments of absolute brilliance in the 2-1 win against Ferencvaros

Srdjan Stevanovic

Chelsea overcame a lackluster first half to come back and win their penultimate preseason friendly of the summer against Ferencváros in Budapest on Sunday.

They did so less because of scintillating team play or out-of-this-world passing -- such things would be unreasonable expectations anyway in games where we make 11 substitutions -- and more so because of a few moments of individual brilliance.

Let's relive those now through the magic of GIFs.

CESC FABREGAS

Fittingly, one of Chelsea's biggest acquisitions of the summer has had one of the best preseasons of any player in the squad, simultaneously putting a tiny bit of our doubts about him to rest -- plenty of concerns still about his defensive abilities in a two-man midfield -- and also showing us glimpses of what we should be expecting from him this season.  One thing that we may not have been expecting were mazy runs through defenses as if we had bought a certain tiny Argentinian from Barcelona instead of Fabregas.  As Pat Nevin pointed out on Chelsea TV, it's that quick touch with the left foot that makes the whole thing, though I'm loving the composed finish as well.

RAMIRES

Been a while since the Blue Kenyan made us sit up and take notice of something positive that he's done, but that finish is as classy as they come.  The shot itself reminded me a bit of Essien's effort against Barcelona, though obviously the setup and the circumstances are vastly different.  Ramires may be in for a decreased workload this season, but as part of a three-man midfield (either in a 4-3-3 or a 3-5-2), he should be one of the first names on the team sheet.

FERNANDO TORRES

If Fernando Torres were a GIF, he'd be this one.

DIEGO COSTA & EDEN HAZARD

We all love the Hazard and Ba bromance, but if Hazard wants to play the field and "see other people," I'm not going to be mad at him.  Everybody loves a bad boy, right Eden?
