Romelu Lukaku has agreed a five-year deal with Everton, according to reports

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

According to Belgian newspaper DH, Romelu Lukaku will be joining Everton on a five-year deal. If the report is correct, that would lend a bit of clarity to his cryptic message this morning, which successfully trolled 93% of the internet.

Lukaku and the Belgians are due back at Chelsea today, so if the Belgian is indeed about to sign for Everton, it shouldn't be too long until we have some sort of confirmation. That move would likely assure that we'll be seeing Fernando Torres sticking around for his fourth full season at Stamford Bridge, meaning that the Blues will have to trim an international from the roster someplace else.

If true, I'd hope we're getting an absolutely insane amount of money for the youngster, because his value to the club as a homegrown, U21 striker is something that we're not going to be able to replace. I really hope DH has their fact wrong.
