The Daily Hilario: And play a video game...

Clive Rose

I've been spending a fair bit of time on video games lately.

In fact, whenever I'm not at work, or on this silly website of silliest sillinesses, or acquiring food beer, or running around in shinguards chasing a ball like the wannabe David Luiz that I want to be, or acquiring more nourishment beer, I've been playing video games.  Now granted, that's not much time spent on video games at all, but it's more time spent on video games than I've had spent on video games in recent months, even years.  Ten-fifteen years ago, this would've been a normal condition, but now it's just a bit weird.

Hearthstone is my main thing.  Still a bit of Diablo III, too.  The Steam summer sale brought back the hankering to play some Shadowrun (I've only played the initial campaign and there's the supposedly even better one out now).  If I ever find enough time, I'll even get enjoy Crusader Kings 2 or Europa Universalis 4.  Meanwhile, Pillars of Eternity will be out soon, and Divinity: Original Sin looks excellent and now I'm trying to resist the $40 impulse buy so soon after passing on it during the sale.  I have a little over 12 hours to decide if I want to back the non-tabletop edition of Twilight Struggle.  Which reminds me that I backed Massive Chalice some time ago as well.

Weird times, man, weird times.  Don't even have time for Football Manager.

Liverpool sign hot young 26-year-old prospect Adam Lallana | Liverpool Offside
He shall be off to Carousel next year of course at the mandatory retirement age of 27, but at least they'll get one good year out of him.  Well, "good."

The video's a bit disorienting, but one thing's for sure: it's absolutely, positively, mindblowingly bonkers.

You are now allowed one (and only one) username change without having to contact SB Nation support
So use it wisely.  You can still change it after that, but you'll need some good reason to do so.

FOOTBALL (all times BST):  go play a video game or something.
