Frank Lampard hasn't been the same player that he was during his prime over the course of the past several seasons, but he was still a very useful player to have around the club. That's come to an end this summer though, as the player has made his move to MLS official.
Lampard said goodbye to the fans one more time on Monday via NYCFC's Twitter account:
In general I just want to say a massive thank you to all the @Chelsea fans for your support and love over the years. I'll never forget it.

It was a real pleasure having Lampard in blue long enough for him to become the club's all time leading scorer. While he's now moved to the US to continue his playing career, I'm sure Chelsea fans everywhere will wish him nothing but the best. I just hope that Frank learns Chelsea's Twitter handle in the future if he's going to continue to Tweet messages to the fans.
