Lucas Piazon has suitors in Germany, according to reports

Stanley Chou

There has been speculation that a loan move for Chelsea forward Lucas Piazon could be finalized soon, and reports in Germany today give us some insight into at least one club that could be interested. According to Bild, Eintracht Frankfurt could be targeting the Brazilian as they look for wide forwards:

Eintracht has about seven million for transfers. Of this amount, but also two wingers are fetched. A candidate is Eindhoven's Zakaria Bakkali Right Wing (18), but also the Liverpool and Porto have in mind. Another could be Chelsea's Lucas Piazon be Brazilian (20). The left winger was recently hired at Arnhem (31 Einsätze/11 goals).

Eintracht would seem like great fit for the Lucas Piazon of the first half, who was easily one of the best players in the Netherlands. The Piazon that faded badly down the stretch might struggle to get minutes in the Bundesliga though, even for a team that was barely outside the relegation fight for most of the year.

As far as I'm concerned, sending Piazon to Frankfurt would be an excellent decision. The player has shown enough with his Chelsea cameos and his first half at Vitesse Arnhem to think he can handle the challenge, but he'll never make it with the Blues if he can't add a little consistency to his game. If I'm Michael Emenalo and this interest is genuine, I'd be doing my best to make it happen.
