36 reasons to get excited about Diego Costa

Shots shots shots shots shots shots shots shots!
Goals goals goal goals goals goals goals goals!
Proper center forward runs!
Strong hold-up play!
Set piece headers!
Finishing!

Oh my.

Diego Costa was not my preferred solution to fill the void at Chelsea's center forward position. But having scored 56 goals in his last 96 matches for Atletico Madrid (in all competitions) -- 36 of those coming this past season -- it's hard to deny that he's been one of the most successful strikers in any of Europe's major leagues over the last two seasons. He may have, let's just say a prickly personality (most certainly on the pitch), but perhaps a bit of attitude is needed to spearhead the Chelsea attack and feed off the awesomeness of the rest of our attacking band. And at just 25, he should have several years of prime service to give to the Chelsea cause.

So, sit back, relax, hit play, and enjoy!
