The Daily Hilario: T-minus four days

Your daily dose of off-topic shenanigans. SocerAid time!

Soccer's alive and well so far in the Sacramento!  The current five-match unbeaten run isn't hurting either.

Today, it took the boys until the 94th minute, but the Republic finally grabbed a well-deserved goal with a late, late, late corner and well-placed header.  Unfortunately, it was only an equalizer, as Arizona United took the lead with a fairly excellent free kick against the run of play around the hour mark.

Still, the crowd went absolutely wild at the equalizer.  Another sold out stadium, 20,000+, in the club's final match in the old-school bowl with a running track.  The next home match will be in the smaller, but sport-appropriate Bonney Field.  Good times.

Stupid rant is stupid.  Not to mention, incredibly poorly timed.  Hey, let's change the rules because there hasn't been a winner in 36 years!  Why not just appreciate that even though the horse apparently stepped on his own feet and lacked his usual kick, he still came so close.  Unlucky and disappointing, but the owner's rant just left a sour taste.
