Footballing superpowers clash when Costa Rica meet England in a meeting of one already qualified and one already eliminated nation.  Yes, respectively.  Well, at least Super Frankie Lampard will captain England in his final (?) international cap.  Meanwhile, Italy and Uruguay battle for the second spot in the group; a draw helps the Azzurri.

In Group C, Colombia have already qualified, while everybody else still has a chance, most of all Ivory Coast.  So come on you Didier Drogbas!

Last Ship, new show on TNT, is dumb and cliched but kind of fun | io9
Watched it last night.  Decent entertainment, with a fairly terrible script.  Filmed on an actual destroyer!  Woo!  And it's got Adam Baldwin, though I fail to see why he's not used in a more comic relief role like in Firefly or Chuck.
