Chelsea the most-represented club in Brazil's World Cup squad

Dean Mouhtaropoulos

Chelsea are kings of Brazil! Kind of. Former Blues manager Luis Felipe Scolari has announced the hosts' World Cup squad, and four out of the 23 (hopefully) set to lead the Selecao to glory hail from Stamford Bridge. And no, there were no surprises, at least as far as Chelsea are concerned. David Luiz is vice-captain, while Ramires, Oscar and Willian have all been called up as well.

I'm extraordinarily excited to see how this group does in the tournament. Getting to wear the yellow shirt in a World Cup hosted by your own country will be an absolutely incredible experience for all of the players, and it's hard not to hope for them to go all the way (assuming England do something Englandy early, which they will).

Here's the full squad.

Goalkeepers: Julio Cesar, Jefferson, Victor.

Defenders: Daniel Alves, Maicon, Marcelo, Maxwell, David Luiz, Thiago Silva, Dante, Henrique.

Midfielders: Luiz Gustavo, Paulinho, Ramires, Fernandinho, Oscar, Willian, Hernanes, Bernard.

Forwards: Fred, Neymar, Hulk, Jo.
