The parallels continue between the Blackhawks & Chelsea, Patrick Kane & Eden Hazard.
Leading 2-0 in the series, the 'Hawks went into Minnesota with a solid, defensive gameplan (sadly, nobody was screaming on Twitter about how they're killing hockey). They took the crowd out of it, they played it simple and safe. They hit the crossbar, then they hit the post. And then Kane lost his man at the far post and the Wild scored. And then the hosts pulled off one passage of actual skilled passing and scored a second, after which Chicago threw everybody forward, eventually giving up an unlucky power play goal and an empty netter.
Oh well. Sucks that game 4 is not until Friday. What kind of silly scheduling is this?
