Are you ready, boots?
I arrived home from the weekend (what happens in San Diego, stays in San Diego - including the broken pieces of my beloved Nexus 4) to find a care package of the brand new football boots that I had ordered before leaving. Yes, they are pictured above. Aren't they purrrty? They shall be replacing my old pair of adidas LZs that had begun to fall apart after a year and a half of three games/week.
They are sure to make me super-duper-awesome at football.
In other news...
Actually, I've been out of the loop for a few days, so you tell me. I hear Van Gaal and Louis Enrique have both been confirmed at United and Barcelona, respectively. LvG vs. Mourinho clashes should be tasty, tasty affairs next season.
Also, this catch (cricket) is amazing. Twice!
FOOTBALL (all times BST):
16.30: Corgoñ Liga, 11th vs. 3rd: DAC vs. Spartak Trnava
(There's actually nothing on, really, but this match is HUGE for my hometown team who have experienced a bit of a rebirth this spring yet still could find themselves relegated thanks to a disastrous fall, a nine-month ban for their best striker, and an unprecedented 6-point deduction for spot fixing by a couple players a few years ago. A win here, in the final home match of the season, would all but guarantee survival with one game to go and a 9-point lead - and a decidedly better goal differential - over the last place team.)
