Chelsea vs. PSG, Champions League: Second Half Thread

Julian Finney

So far so good.

We're halfway there, Andre Schurrle's goal - the second in two matches for Chelsea that's come from a throw-in! - giving us extra hope just after the half-hour mark.  Right around the time Didier Drogba opened the scoring two years ago, if you're looking for good omens.  Which we need after Eden Hazard's early injury. Of course, the only reason Schurrle's on is because of Hazard's injury.  I'm losing track whether this is a good omen or a bad omen.

What's important is that Chelsea have the belief and have the first or two goals that are required.  Oscar's playing quite well, and David Luiz is trying to be everywhere at once in the midfield.  Unfortunately, Frank Lampard is showing his age and his lack of mobility.  The defense has stayed compact for the most part and PSG have not troubled Cech greatly.

All we need is another 1-0 half and we're through.  Let's do this.

Win or lose, UP THE BLUES!
