Atlético Madrid vs. Chelsea, Champions League: Second Half Thread

Mike Hewitt

Fourty-five minutes down, fourty-five to go.

One half killed, one half left to kill.

One goalkeeper down, One Schwarzer left.

It's been a physical, drag 'em out, knock 'em out sort of game, just as expected. Chelsea have been second best, but it's not like Atletico have offered consistent threat either. We did manage one excellent counter attack that was promptly wasted by Ramires, but so far the plan is working.

So far so good. Have to keep working hard and keeping up the physical fight.

One more half like this and we'll get to go home to Stamford Bridge with a slight advantage.
