Thanks to the midweek internationals, we are left with almost no actual football to watch today or most of the next five days. Thanks, FIFA! Now I'm going to have to, like, pay attention to other humans around me and maybe even do some productive work. Gosh!
And now, off to watch True Detective.

Full list of winners at this year's Oscars | ABC
Not sure I disagree with any of the major category winners. Gravity, Dallas Buyers Club, and 12 Years a Slave all cleaned up. That I've only seen one of those (the first one) is something that I shall have to rectify. There was also one (Italian) dude who name-checked (i.e. "thanked") Diego Maradona. Probably my highlight of the whole evening.

Wichita State goes 31-0 in the regular season | SB Nation
First undefeated regular season in NCAA Division 1 men's college basketball since 2004. Are the Shockers ready to shock even more this season? They did make the Final Four last year...
Yaya's goal was ok, I guess, but I liked this from Tevez even more | YouTube
I'm not 100% convinced Yaya actually meant that. Tevez, on the other hand, absolutely leathers this one. I'm so glad he plays in Italy now.
