In a development that should be surprising to nobody, Demba Ba - man of three starts all season and none since December - has started looking for a new job for next season.
Chelsea's third-choice, £7m striker was speaking to the paywalled The Sun. Fortunately, we have Twitter:
Ba—"My agent has spoken to the club about a departure and he has started speaking with other clubs about a contract for next year." #CFC

Ba—"I hope we can find the best option possible. I’d like to stay in England. I like other leagues, too. I’d like to try the Italian league"

Having already proven his ability to score goals in Germany and England, it could be fun to see Ba try his luck in the Serie A. Perhaps we can package him up with Fernando Torres in a B1G1 deal to Internazionale?
Ba—"That would be the best way to go out the door. If I leave with at least the title or the CL, that would be exceptional." #CFC

While Chelsea did give Ba a Europa League winner's medal last season, I'm sure a trophy to which he could more directly contribute would be even sweeter. After all, it is for what he came to Chelsea in the first place. A Premier League or Champions League title would indeed be exceptional.
