Ain't got not time for links; all we got time for are games!
Or something.
I bought and downloaded the Diablo III expansion today. Apparently in the several months of not playing the game, they've changed basically all the core mechanics around to make it more like Diablo II, which can only be a fantastic thing. Because the Diablo series is one of only three gaming franchises that I can still play in my old age. I know you're wondering what those three may be - and rightly so as there may be a quiz later - so here we go.
- Championship/Football Manager - starting way back with CM97/98
- Diablo I, II, III and assorted expansions
- Baldur's Gate and all its relatives. Proud backer of the Pillars of Eternity Kickstarter.
When I was younger, I played just about everything I could get my hands on. Now it's just those three. Video games have passed me by and left me all homeless and old on the side of the road. Sad.
And now it's time to chase away sadness by killing demons. My new character's name: MATIC (Crusader). He joins MRLSH (Demon Hunter), LUKAKU (Barbarian), and DPeezy (Witch Doctor).
Thus concludes another episode of Deep Thoughts with DPeezy. No quiz this time. Lots of fun football to look forward to though...
Discuss.
