We hadn't seen much from Mohamed Salah since his January move from Basel, but if he's been disheartened by his lack of playing time, it certainly didn't show against Arsenal. Four minutes after coming on for Oscar, Salah notched his first Chelsea goal, racing onto a superb pass from Nemanja Matic and poking past Wojciech Szczesny for the Blues' sixth and final goal on the night.
On the bench, Jose Mourinho was just as happy about the goal as Salah, for good reason -- it turns out he had told the Egyptian that he was going to score:
My relationship with Mourinho is very good. He motivated me before the game and told me that I would score today. I am working with the best coach in the world.

I had been worried that Salah wasn't settling or that he might not have been happy with his lack of involvement to date, but based on those quotes it sounds like he's more than happy at Stamford Bridge. Here's to many more goals, Mo!
