Chelsea draw Paris Saint-Germain in Champions League quarterfinals

Paris. It's a nice enough place, one supposes, especially for fans of, say, duck confit, delicious wine, architecture that hasn't been ruined by World War 2, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. And it's where Chelsea will be heading in April for a quarterfinal against the aforementioned Zlatan and his band of merry men -- Luis Figo has drawn us against Paris Saint-Germain for the Champions League quarterfinals.

I don't think this is a matchup that we're expected to win, by any means. PSG are a great side and they pushed Barcelona hard last year before upgrading in summer, and Chelsea won't cruise against them like they did at Galatasaray. But at the same time, they won't be looking forward to facing us either. They're a touch unbalanced and defensively vulnerable, and there's no reason we won't be able to make the semifinals. It's a really interesting tie against a good team, and that's exactly what the tournament is all about.

First leg in Paris on April 2nd, second at home on April 8th. Let's do this.

Other quarterfinals:

Barcelona vs. Atletico Madrid
Real Madrid vs. Borussia Dortmund
Manchester 'I think we can be a match for any team' United vs. Bayern Munich
