Chelsea vs. Galatasaray, Champions League: Confirmed Lineups & First Half Game Thread

Michael Regan

Well, here we go then.  Drogba or no Drogba, it's time to put on our game faces and take care of business.  This is no time for niceties.  Win or go home.

"So normally it will be the same kind of match [as the first leg], with a result that I believe goes until the end. I don't think one of the teams is going to make a result where people know already at half-time who is going to win."

Chelsea starting lineup (4-2-3-1):
Petr Cech | Cesar Azpilicueta, John Terry, Gary Cahill, Branislav Ivanovic | Frank Lampard, Ramires | Eden Hazard, Oscar, Willian | Samuel Eto'o

Substitutes from: Mark Schwarzer, David Luiz, Tomas Kalas, Mikel, Andre Schurrle, Fernando Torres, Demba Ba

Galatasaray starting lineup (4-3-1-2):
Fernando Muslera | Alex Telles, Aurelien Chedjou, Semih Kaya, Emmanuel Eboue | Selcuk Inan, Felipe Melo, Yekta Kurtulus | Wesley Sneijder | Didier Drogba, Burak Yilmaz

Mourinho rolls with most of his usual first-choice lineup with two changes form the weekend.   Eto'o, as expected, come back in at the top.  Frank Lampard replaces the ineligible Matic in midfield.
