As usual, Jose Mourinho's pre-match press conference provided an injury update ahead of the match tomorrow against Newcastle. The big question was always going to be Fernando Torres, and the manager confirmed that he won't be available despite having returned to training this week.

In addition to Torres, several other player are dealing with minor injuries and may not be available tomorrow.

Those players weren't named, but with a mostly full strength squad to choose from and another match coming on Tuesday, I'd be fairly surprised to see Mourinho risk anyone that isn't 100%.
One player that is fit and ready to play is Chelsea's newest signing, Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian is available for selection, according to Jose.

I'd be surprised to see the 21-year starting in his first Chelsea appearance, as the squad has been showing some excellent chemistry of late. Given the opportunity in the second half though, I'd be shocked if Salah wasn't one of the subs. If you were on the fence about whether or not to tune in for tomorrow's game, a probable debut of the man we stole from Liverpool seems a pretty good reason to do so.
