Galatasaray vs. Chelsea, UEFA Champions League: Lineups & Game Thread

Michael Regan

We are going to play to win but we know they are strong. They have many special attacking players and they have lots of goalscorers, we know that. But as I always say, we are trying to build a team for the future and so we are going to play as we always do, by trying to win the game.

Galatasaray starting lineup (4-2-3-1):
Fernando Muslera | Alex Telles, Hakan Balta, Aurelien Chedjou, Emmanuel Eboue | Felipe Melo, Selcuk Inan | Burak Yilmaz, Wesley Sneijder, Izet Hajrovic | Didier Drogba

Substitutes from: Ufuk Ceylan, Semih Kaya, Sabri Sarioglu, Ceyhun Gulselam, Yekta Kurtulus, Emre Colak, Umut Gundogan

Chelsea starting lineup (4-2-3-1):
Petr Cech | Cesar Azpilicueta, John Terry, Gary Cahill, Branislav Ivanovic | Frank Lampard, Ramires | Eden Hazard, Willian, Andre Schurrle | Fernando Torres

Substitutes from: Mark Schwarzer, Ashley Cole, Tomas Kalas, Oscar, Mikel, Demba Ba, Samuel Eto'o

Jose makes two unenforced changes: Schurrle and Torres replace Oscar and Eto'o.  Meanwhile, it looks like David Luiz failed his fitness test, while both Nemanja Matic and Mohamed Salah are ineligible.  That does allow Tomas Kalas a place on the bench.
