There has been all sorts of debate on the future of Thibaut Courtois, whether his future lies at Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, or elsewhere. Assuming the player's father is currently in the know, it sounds as if we've finally got some clarity on the plan for the young goalkeeper:
Thierry Courtois tells RTBF that his son will leave Atletico at end of season for Chelsea, rather than Barcelona or Real Madrid.

This sounds like what Jose Mourinho has been looking for all along, to have both Petr Cech and Thibaut Courtois in the first team next season. It's hard to imagine either keeper will be extended before next season. though I'd imagine we'll see one or the other commit their future to Chelsea as next season is progressing.
Regardless, this should be good news for just about every Chelsea fan. Courtois looks as if he'll get his shot in the first team, and it doesn't look like we'll be dumping Cech without first seeing the youngster at Chelsea. I suppose this likely means Mark Schwarzer will only spend a single season with the club though, and it may even spell the end for Henrique Hilario.
