Chelsea spread holiday cheer at local hospital

It's always a positive to hear about Chelsea FC helping the surrounding community, and the holiday season is the sort of time that these stories really pick up. The Blues have an annual tradition of visiting Chelsea and Westminster Hospital to cheer up the children currently staying there, and they didn't disappoint this year -- a veritable gang of Blues turned up at the place to give away gifts and take photos with patients.

Here, for instance, is Filipe Luis with Ramires, Diego Costa -- he's smiling, miraculously -- and Petr Cech giving a goodie bag to a young fan ...

Amazing day!!!

Kurt Zouma, John Terry, Gary Cahill and André Schürrle were in the act too:

The Mail has many more photos on their website, but it's clear that the better part of the squad, including Jose Mourinho, was in attendance at the event. Good for them, too -- it's stories like these that make us proud to be Blues.
