Here's that 747 landing at Gatwick with just 4 set of wheels | Gizmodo
This was a confusing story initially, but it goes a little something like this.  The plane took off from Gatwick, ready to fly to Las Vegas.  Soon after, it developed some sort of hydraulic problem and the crew decided to return.  They circled for a bit to dump some fuel.  Then, upon approach, the right main gear failed to extend.  They performed a fly-by of the airport to confirm the diagnosis, then circled around to dump/burn-off some fuel and eventually landed safely.  The whole thing took about 4 hours.
