Eden Hazard: "I'll be able to play on Boxing Day"

There'd been some concern as to whether Eden Hazard -- subject of a kicking or ten from various members of Stoke's Grand Brigade of Arseholes -- would be fit to play against West Ham on Friday. After all, he was forced off very late in Chelsea's 2-0 win at the Britannia after having his achilles clipped by Jonathan Walters*, and with fixtures coming thick and fast any injury could lead to missed games.

*Which led to the amusing sight of Kurt Zouma playing at #10.

But worry not, for Hazard himself has told the papers in Belgium that he'll be fine. That is, of course, if you trust SportWereld's account, who, via the magic of Google Translate, claim:

But the jolly Hazard said after the match with a nod assured: "I'll be able to play on Boxing Day."

Which is obviously great news. While Cesc Fabregas is racking up the assists, Hazard is key to disrupting defences and giving his teammates space to play. If Chelsea want to see off the Hammers after Christmas, having him in the lineup is a good place to start.
