As if scoring your very first goal for your brand new club isn't a memorable enough occasion, if you do it with an absolutely jaw-dropping free kick, you're guaranteed to be remembered for a lot longer than your proverbial 15 minutes of attention.
In fact, I can't really remember anything else about Kasmirski's third straight start other than that free kick. GET IN.

I must say I'm a little disappointed that the nickname 'Eddie' hasn't really caught on. I mean Eden is a very unique and pretty cool name to be sure -- and it opens up fantastic opportunities for playing around with Garden of Eden headlines and associated references -- but Eddie's just got that certain bit of charm, that indefinable bit of je ne sais quoi. It's a bit like Dave in that sense, I suppose.
Eddie scored his third goal in four games, and it was all good.

Cesc has yet to earn a homely, charming nickname -- and no, anything along the lines of "fab" or "sexy" is neither homely, nor charming -- but he's got a lot of history working against him, so it's not entirely unexpected. For many, it is indeed still strange to see him in Blue, yours truly included. But it must be said that the man looks absolutely FABulous in Blue. (See, they're groanworthy.)
Fàbregas got his 15th assist in all competitions, and it was all good. FIFTEEN! Holy [shoe].
