Derby County vs. Chelsea: Second half discussion

One of the few complaints Chelsea fans can have with Eden Hazard this season is his finishing. The Belgian made the most of his first attempt on goal today though, giving the Blues the lead midway through the first half.

The first half went largely as many would have expected, with Derby playing a direct, physical game in which Chelsea had the bulk of the possession. They ran and pressed very hard whenever Chelsea took possession, so much that it's hard to imagine they'll be able to maintain that level of effort for the full 90 minutes.

The Blues weren't often troubled by the Derby attack, though they struggled to create many chances against the Rams' defense. They managed to capitalize on their opponent's one big mistake though, and Jose Mourinho will be working with a lead at the halftime break.

There was one scary moment for Chelsea fans, as Kurt Zouma was forced off late in the half after a collision with Petr Cech's fist. He was immediately replaced by Branislav Ivanovic, so here's hoping that Zouma is ok.
